A Local Vet with a World of Knowledge

My journey to becoming a vet started on my grandparents’ small farm in Wiltshire, inspired by visits from local vet’s. I graduated from the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in 1994 and have worked across mixed practice before focusing solely on companion animals.
I moved to Farnham in 2005 with my partner, Rachel. After a year in Belgium, we settled here permanently. I spent four years at Cathcart & Winn before opening Vets4Pets in Farnham in 2012, which I left in May 2025.
“My focus is helping pet owners choose the most appropriate, realistic treatment options, even when that means making difficult but compassionate decisions.”
Over the last 12 years, I’ve completed postgraduate qualifications in small animal surgery, emergency medicine, and dentistry. I’m registered as an Advanced Veterinary Practitioner in Small Animal Surgery, but I consider myself first and foremost a general practitioner. My focus is helping pet owners choose the most appropriate, realistic treatment options – even when that means making difficult but compassionate decisions.
I also collaborate with the University of Nottingham’s Centre for Evidence-based Veterinary Medicine on their BestBETS for Vets project, contributing to better-informed clinical decisions.
